Curfew essay hooks

Having a teenage curfew is ineffective and useless. Many people argue that the curfews are necessary because it will keep young people out of trouble. They also say that teenagers are more likely to get in trouble late than they would during daylight.

Teen curfews discriminate against young minorities and violate the rights of minors, also I think that teen curfews confine all young teens based on actions of a small percentage of our population. Curfews are often needed to prevent teens from getting into trouble late at night and many people argue if parents should be held responsible for this.

The argument based around curfew is essentially centered around the concept that teens will stay out of trouble when forced to stay at home. However, there cases on the opposing side in which curfews actually prevent teens from getting into trouble, but just as many or more cases found teens in performing these criminal activities.

The curfew law is not a state-wide law, thus, I believe that this makes the enforcement of these two… all young teenagers and the idea of a curfew to keep teenagers off the street by a certain time is to be debated by them.
